really good pics, i bet you had a wicked vacation!

my only tip/advice:
after going to Cuba, taking 100's of pics, i went and bought myself a polarizing filter for my D70, and its been the best investement ive made to date [as far as photography].
this normally takes some ppl a trip to somewhere exotic with clear waters and dozens of pics with super-high glare to realise, but its just a tip.

it'll be a great investement in that camera.

like i suggested, Polarizing lens, and/or a UV filter to protect the camera internals.

i think you'll enjoy being able to control every aspect of the photography once you get the d80.

im not sure what kind of shops are going to be accessible to you, but i strongly recommend not paying over 40$. they might sell for 80$ at Henry's, but i got one in the states for 18$ reg. price, and it works the magic!
look around, ebay will have em sub-30$.
