Although I've now decided that I will build my dream DH rig, since I've been riding so much DH on my Rampant lately:

Transition TR250
Rockshox Lyric RC2 DH Coil
Strailine stem and pedals
Chromag OSX Fubars
Shimano Saint brakes, Cranks
Sram X9 derailleur, shifter and cassette
E-thirteen LG1+ and 36t chainring
Hope ProII hubs
Mavic EX721 rims
DT Swiss spokes
and suitable Maxxis tires for the weather conditions.

I've already got some parts for it, so it's already underway.

The ones the Santa Cruz Syndicate team have been using are bombproof.

Last seasons running Aluminium rims they went through 3 pairs PER RIDER per race.

This season they've only had to replace one rim, Minaar's rear one.
