Apparently it's where jim morrison's sweetheart, pam courson, was born ...kinda ironic.

As for Weed, it was featured in Steinbeck's book "Of Mice and Men"; good book, worth the read.

PS: Don't blame us for the stupid country name in English, blame yourselves, in Hungarian it's Magyarország, nothing to do with eating and hunger. Wink

Of Mice and Men, not a bad book but believe me, nothing 'exceptional'. You can read into it quite a bit though and it really does express the short comings of the traditionally viewed 'American Dream' How the for farthers whole reason for coming to America was flawed and how the people now mirrored exactly why the country was formed away from Europe. Pretty good book actually!
