Welcome to The Photography Assignment Group.

This group will host bi-weekly (that's every 2 weeks) themed photo assignments for photographers of all levels. This is a great way to challenge yourself with new ideas, it's also a good excuse to get out and shoot! Try to get creative and push yourself!

The group will pick a winner at the end of every round who will decide the next assignment theme.


The Rules...

-Post a maximum of 3 images per theme!

-Images must be taken and posted in the group within the 2 week period given for the assignment.

-Try to include some information with your image(s), Camera, Lens, Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, etc.

Photography skills aren't outstanding, but whatever. Here goes it. My camera's just a Canon T2i with a stock 18-55.

I wish my ISO was lower on this one.

Trozei, take another look at the rules... The whole point of this group is to go out and shoot NEW images!

Nice effort though, I imagine you'll be able to come up with something pretty interesting.

Figured I'd give this a go. Tried a freelensing self portrait, balancing the lens on a chair with the camera on a tripod next to it which limited angle and composition somewhat but all things considered I'm fairly happy.

Had it in mind for a while, turned out okay, the cut hand bothers me.

According to my being sick and therefore lack of enthusiasm to do anything along with schoolwork catch up and finals prep I'm wondering if this first assignment will happen.

Well, you got two weeks to do it. No big deal though.

Also, I'm open to ideas for future assignments if anyone wants to contribute. I'll try my best to keep them fresh.

Daily objects made beautiful, other people you don't know, long shutter speed, soft focus, action, a picture that represents your life
