I ran DHF on the front and DHR on the rear for a season or two.. I found the DHF front and rear to be much better. It's a fast rolling tire with awesome cornering. If you wanted a different tire in the back I would put a high roller in over the DHR. I don't know why, but I'm just not a big fan of the DHR. The high roller might be better for braking than the DHF, but it's a slower roller and doesn't quite bite the corners like the F minions.

With all this said, it depends on what terrain you are riding in and what kind of trails.. A minion may excel on trail A, but the high roller might be best on trail B. Don't forget about your riding style and what you want to get out of your ride.. Hey if you want to send some sick drifts, you could try out some hookworms! (not recommended)

But since you asked: DHF on the front AND rear!

Try out the Maxxis DHF 3C 2.5 front and a High Roller II 2.4 in the rear. Its cryp

DHF up front and use the DHR II out the back
They designed the DHRII because so many riders were using the DHF as a rear tiree so they revamped the old DHR basically using a DHF then modifying it for a more ideal rear end ride.

I have not used the new DHR II yet but they sound good.

equally important is your riding, no point using muds if your riding dry compact, not point uses dry tires in mud.

dont think about whether conditions think about track conditions. the track defines what tires and width you use.
