k well whoever said 1000 dollars for the 318 is f***ed..maybe at your lbs where they rip you off so bad that its not even funny but right now they are 450 brand new on www.jensonusa.com right now and the 409 is goin for something like 550 on jenson i think

Im pretty sure that the bike shops are alot more expensive i got my dj 3 for half price for 350 and the dj 1s where around 1100 if that sounds out ragous to any one i dunno it does to me this was in 2005.

Right now the exchange rate is almost EXACT. So if the fork is 450 in the US... then its like 456in Canada. Best time to order from the states is now. And considering the fork is really good, it's actually cheap.


If you live in Canada DO NOT buy anything from your LBS, go online. The stores can't compete. Or even come close.

Arygle is worth about 500 euro, dj is more expensive but I think this two forks are nice for street and dirt. I more like painting of Arygle:P:P

My lbs is pretty good for pricing (Im in ontario) if the exchange rate stays the same till next season all the cataloges and prices will be much different for stuff that comes from the U.S (the U.s is in huge debt lol but yeah the 318 is like 400 to 500 area and 409 is 500 to 600 and your friend got mad ripped off if he baught it for 1000
