My mate just got this through pinkbike regarding his bike for sale.

Surely people can't REALLY be this stupid?

My Name mr paul I am interested in your car for sale
and i would like to ask some details concernng it before
proceeding with the payment. Since you are the owner, you should be able to
brief me on the general condition of you bike

My son recieved a message that was pretty much just like that also, like you said how stupid are these people although maybe they get 1 out of 1000 to give up thier identity

it may work on idiotic people. It takes them no time to send it to hundreds. Eventually they get victims.

the reason for the bad english is likly because the person is foreign and has used a online translater which is in accurate and incorrect after being translated.

thats funny he says car and then bike.

i think he uses the details to get credit cards and stuff then the bill gets charged to you

It's a fake cashier's check. Simple. It looks legit so the bank accepts it. You ship the item. The bank lets you know a few days later that it was a fake. You get the shaft.
