Here we go!

Got the email and started thumbing through the info. Heard rumors from my LBS earlier this summer and here it is... well in 3 months. I'm on the list for one. Anyone have thoughts on the new suspension geometry on the mullet Tracer?

that last photo. marin want their colors back

Anyway, why have intense made suspension recommendations only go to a 84KG and thats regarded at the top of an XL?

Lots of 6ft riders on larges who are over that lol

Also, am i missing something but whats the difference between the 279 and the S? is it just the build spec?

Also shows the S as 2 lbs less. Could be build as historically the frames have been the same but seems like a lot.

I love the new color of the 279 the S looks a bit plain. I'm honestly disappointed in the price point for NX kit. My 2019 Tracer Expert was 3599 and while I understand most the bikes moved up to 4300 I think 5499 is a huge leap and should be speced accordingly. Perhaps if I can get a deal on a frame might be worth a build but as it sits my DVO outfitted 2019 might last a few more seasons before I hand it off.

5500 is brutal for a NX build

Glad it's not just me. The new color is hot though, will give it that. I know everything go expensive. But at 5500 should have at least GX but thats just me.

Has anybody actually got the new tracer and has anything to say? I’m considering getting one but I can only find one or two reviews and am curious about people’s thoughts

Which version are you looking at? They now have just the straight 29er as well as the 279.

The tan color is super hot in person. Have you demoed one yet? If I didnt love my last gen so much I'd probablt jump on one.

I’m honestly pretty interested in both. I was gonna try to demo one of them then decide if i wanted a smaller or bigger back wheel.

Good call. I spent the weekend in Sedona on a Primer 29er. Being a short guy wasnt sure how I would like the 29 inch wheel. But I had a good time. Definitely worth a test ride the Tracer is by far the most fun bike I've ever owned.

Haha, i’m the exact opposite, I’m pretty tall so i’m unsure about the smaller back wheel.

Sweet, thank you! I figure i’ll probably like the 29er more as the last enduro bike i had was a carbine from 2018
