Kona makes some good bikes, but even I, a Kona rider have to admit, they aren't the best. I think the best bike brand out there is either Knolly or Nicolai. The attention to detail both of these companies put into each of their bikes is simply astounding. Both of them must spend hours toiling over a CNC mill to get everything perfect. It's really unbelievable what these two companies put into their product.

If you aren't familiar with Knolly, here is their flagship bike, the V-Tach

personal prefrence,i say the Foes 2:1 DHS mono because it revolutionized the way downhill bikes should be.
