I'm driving my dream car, wouldn't trade it for any other ride. Even if someone wanted to trade me a ferrari, or that sexy blue ZR1 I would say no. It's a 96 vw jetta with an audi 1.8T swap.

Lets be truthfull here, you would swap it in a second. You could then sell it and have a fleet of jettas, or one jetta and a good downpayment on a house

Haha...well there's more to it. I have a lot of good memories with this car especially during the build process, Plus it was in a magazine last year. A lot of work went into it. It means a lot to me. But I mean if I had to sell it or trade it for another car to have money to get a house then ya, I would. I would never simply just trade it for another car.

You know, I have no idea. and given my job, you'd expect me to have an idea.

BUt walking through work the other day, staring at all the components.. Makes me feel like if it was all wheel drive, a manual transmission, had a turbo or two.. That's all I'd need to start.

I'm really craving to do a full-on track car. But I can't personally afford it right now.

maybe an 01 S4?

Hell even a fresh new 2.0T A4 would work. So much can be done to it, and well done.

I've felt most at home in an RS4. or a CLS63 AMG. But just like bikes, I feel there is a car for ever discipline that I would love specifically for that!

Draco, S4 would be awesome. I'm not sure what it's like in the states but up here the price has dropped and I don't know why. I could pick up a mint 02 S4 low milage for about 10 to 12 grand. I love how they handle, it's like the car is on rails. One day if I ever do sell my jetta I'll be getting a B5 S4...or E46 M3.

I hate to trail off topic but I take it you work in a shop that tunes audi's or euro cars in general?

I work at a place that imports and distributes ferman tuning stuff for most of north america. we also sell direct, and sometimes do little install stuff for special customers.

I design/test components for our own brand, as well as a new brand we are starting.
