So is it true he's going to be riding a Specialized dh proto or do you think he'll end up as the flagship 23 degrees rider for Trek?? Afterall the trek 88 has almost the identical geomtery to Hill Ironhorse Sunday or was that Trek just "borrowing" a winning formula???

It is now a fact that Sam is going to Specialized, the guys commentating the last dh race (which was his last race on the iron horse sunday) a couple of days ago said that he is for sure going to Specialized bikes.

agreed, not sure about him riding for specialized though.... i think it would be interesting if he went to ibis, and helped them develop a dh bike along with brian lopes
