hey i was wondering if anyone from CANADA has ordered a complete bike off danscomp and if so how much were the dutie charges because i want to order a bike but if it costs $300 at the boarder it's not really worth it. help please!

I ordered my bike which had a value of like 480 bucks at border and i got charged 120, my friend ordered recently off there for his bike and only had to pay 115.

my friend ordered a complete from there and im pretty sure he got charged around 200$ or more. it came over the border then went back then came back over the border again. its not really worth it find it in canada or buy something used in good condition

Border charges vary. Sometimes it can be as little as $10 and other times it can be easily over $100. If you can, support your local shop or order from Canadian mailorder sites like 3ride and Transition BMX.

That is if you cross it in a vehicle, shipping is a whole other story. It can cost anywhere from 10$ to 250$ if not more in brokeage fees,border fees, and many more...the best way to do it is ask them to ship threw USPS but a bike box may be to big.
