thats exactly what i was going to get but the rims are tubless, and if you get side wall slice you have to buy a whole new tire.

i ride a front deemax and i just throw a tube in it anyways, im not too concerned about weight so why not, better be safe than sorry

yea man, i run the tubless deemax with a tubless tire and with a tube lol, works good, and man my deemax is cracked to shit and its still hold up off the big drops and rock gardens, i mean its f*cked right up, the rim seam is messed, each nipple hole is almost pulled right through and its still good

Wheelset or rim?

Mavic is tried and trusted the 823 and 721 are both cream of the crop. You can run tubes in 823 (Deemax) by unscrewing the valve itself. You'll have to run Presta valves but you can run tubes (I run tubes in mine).

im talkin the rim, and ya im runnin a mavic 729 in the back and its friggin sweet

Look at Deetraks, much cheaper and not all that much heavier. They run tubes.

No comment on the Deemax hubs
