make sure whatever rims you get have the same amount of holes as you have spokes for a start

if you have to ask how hard it is to build a rim then leave it to the shop not worth attempting and ruining rims.

good. basically i haven't built a wheel so far haha but i can tell you that you need to put spoke in then connect to nipple in the rim, then five holes along the hub put another one facing the other way, but still on the same flange of the hub, then connect this to nipple/rim 3 holes along the rim, and then just carry on.

preferably you need a wheel building stand so you get the rim straight. This will cost more than the shope will charge....

changed a front and it was grand just a pain in arse took forever. did rear and it lasted no time as you sometimes build offset and you need different tensions because of cassette, I didnt and it was mashed. My shop quotes me 30 ish

So you're gonna do it no matter what we say? And opinions are frowned upon?

My opinion is that if you need to ask you can't do it.

ima probably take it to the shop on that case

ring up first and get a quote around 30-40 is pretty standard
