I use both but prefer Mac.
This has been done and ends up in a huge flame fest why Vista or Mac sucks.
Both have ups and downs, neither is a superior system.

both are superior systems in their own respect. I don't personally think PC's can touch apple as far as video capability and perhaps other multimedia (other areas, I think, are more equally matched.). Apple certainly can't compete with business aspects of computing as well as gaming. That being said, I use Apple. I used PC up until a couple years ago...now I wouldn't use anything but apple. They're just simpler.

im one of the untrendy people. ive got a pc and i like it. ive probably only spent a couple hours on a mac. still though, im a fan of pcs and i think their overall set up is much easier and you can do more if you know the computer inside and out. macs are much sexier though. and vista is annoying.

apple editing compared to pc editing there is comparison.
not only in user accesibility, but with video editing, just an all around easier OS.
but at the same time, a mac will never play a game haha.
so if you wanna play video games your kinda stuck

I completely agree

Mac is better for everyday stuff but Windows is better for more in depth software (at least thats what it seems like to me)

I totally agree with that, I've been using Mac's since about 1995. Always have liked them. Now I'm going to get the new Leopard. BUt as you said the, if you want gaming then yeah a windows is the way to go, just build you own.

Unless you go and boot camp XP or Vista onto it, then you can play games like CounterStrike and others on things like Steam.

radek boot camps his os with xp.
its just not the same
a 1500$ apple macbook pro, running xp and OSX compared to a 1500 lappy running XP.
your way better off using the XP version for gaming

Yeah I know that, just throwing it out there.
And it kind of defetes the purpose of having a Mac. Well I think so.

I got an "evaluation" Wink copy of leopard yesterday.
So far so good. At first glance it seems stable, and a little snappier.
THe spaces is a nice feature, but I did like some of the features more of the virtue desktop app I used before.
They did a good job improving the finder. It is much more usable and the network shares on it work a whole lot better.

Nothing really amazing as far of features in this version, but if most of the work was done under the hood, I'm cool with that. I just started using it today, so this is just preliminary
