yeh obviously it depends on the frame you are stripping as all will have different thicknesses

Dirtjum naked man. Youll save much more weight that way than you will rawing your frame. Plus youll need to clearcoat it after rawing it if you dont want rust... thats just adding more weight.

rawing your frame may look cool if your going for the "industrial" look but as far as weight saving it's pretty much pointless.

I agree 100% the only reason i might strip my paint off is after my bike is covered in scratches and would look better without paint than it did with all the scratches and gouges in the paint lol.
