Just received my NS Capital 2 frame today, and have a very light build kit for it. Fingers crossed it will make the category, should have it built up by the end of the week with scale shots.

Mine is in that area but don't have a scale shot since I never take a camera to the shop.

no offense but I dont think this topic will last long... there simply aren't that many bikes.

My Pinscher has gone through many rebuilds. When I had rigid with my old wheelset, my bike was 23.1 pounds.

My newest build which im going through right now, includes new bars, new rigid, along with a new wheelset that will be ordered in about 5 weeks. My bike will be close to 22 pounds, with ease.

most 4x bikes that us MORTALS can afford will be in the 25-26 range unless u have masterful negotiating skills with ur LBS lol

In my opinion 23lbs is too light. Unless you are 14 and weigh 98 lbs, a 23lb MTB bike is too light. Again just my opinion.

23lbs is maybe too light if you run speeds, two brakes and suspension, I run a singlespeed rigid bike with one brake with nothing weak on it so it is possible even at 160lbs...

mine is 22 but i cant be bothered to take a scale shot so ignore this post.

Finished my Capital 2 build last night - comes in at 21.49lb
I knew it would be light, but I never expected it to be this light, considering it is built pretty strong!

A massive shout to www.ribbed.com.au for all the goodies!

Build List:
Frame: NS Capital 2
Fork: NS RNS Rigid
Hubs: NS Rotary front, Proper rear
Rims: Sun Rhyno lite
Stem: NS Quark
Bar: NS District (un-cut)
Cranks: Demolition cromo
Pedals: NS Aerial
Tyres: KHE Mac2

Sorry for the poor pics, only had my phone to shoot them after i built it.
Will have quality pics up soon including better scale shots.
