It seems to work better on hardtails from what I’ve seen. Matching stem/headset/bars/chainring/hubs In some combination.

I just stuck with Shimano on my Chris King. The XD Driver is like $250. Lollllll. Madder . But yes, you will need an XD driver to run Eagle.

Got a couple of average hubs lying around and want to build some wheels, the hubs are sealed bearings so worth building on, looking at the rim here but not sure if it's any good, I know seraph and WTH Highly regard WTB so thought you might be able to cast some light

Edit: to be fair, no matter what anyone says, you could ding any rim on your first outing - solid buy especially at that price point though. The i23 came standard on many good manufacturer's bikes,these are better ...so that must count for something - reviews are top too
