Any lock, and I mean any, can be broken with an angle grinder.

try getting through this. even if you did you would probably have grinded the bike to nothinglol

look a little closer, only one lock is actually attached to the bike rack. that would be easy to steal, just pointless.

lol , yeah, but still what use is it going to be even if you manage to get it unlocked? theirs like 100 pounds of locks on it lol

i ride my norco 250 to school all the time, i used to ride my norco six to school. No one can even tell the difference between any bike at all. Most poeple at my school think that a $500 trbial is better than my 250 cuz it has dual shock and front and rear disk brakes. Aslo a guy rides a jamis dakar to school ever day and no one can tell the difference. Its really good to ride my bike to school cuz theres a skate park 1 minute away, to do lunch sessions

gotta join ya for those sessions Big Grin

going to markville high school must be great when you are right beside the best skatepark in the GTA...

now everyone, wouldn't you guys bring a 1500 dollar bike to school when this was basically next door?

offtopic, but I ride my shit to school. heres where I lock it up. there is no public access to this area, and its in the empty part of the school. I bet less than 5 people walk past it. I use a fahgettaboutit lock, its pretty burly, but not impossible to break.

photo

that doesnt look like a school
looks like a farmhouse lol
lol lol that was classic

My bike is worth 1500$, should I risk going to school with it (it might get stolen), or do you think I should forget about it??
hell no! don't take it to school!!!Madder Madder at my school at least, unless you lock up your frame, both tires and whatever else you can get the lock through, your components will get stolen.

actually, someone locked up their bike with like an inch thick lock, but only to their front tire, so now there's a front tire stuck to the bike rack, it's been there for 2 years. take a crap bike to school instead

i used to back in high school and left it unlocked. lol i bought a remote tracking device and stuffed it in my frame down the seat pole. one day some one tried to jack it but i had the tracker set on motion sensor which started to beep while i was sitting in class. wasnt too long i darted out the door and went after the guy. thanks to the brilliant layout of the school buddy couldnt get away without crossing my path. you should've seen the look on his face...Eek Rolleyes

ebay, they run about 150-300$ for a decent compact sized one.

I got to knox and the bike racks are fenced in. they lock them rite when school starts and open them at the end of the day so its fairly safe.
