who cares it was funny. it was a joke, Rob Warner always says things like that and the majority of people find it funny. the people who don't can go watch in on that EuroSports one with the guy who thinks Gee is Scottish.

You can make jokes but you just don't make jokes at tragedies like that where people died, you just don't, it ain't right.

a rider named Pascal crashed in the wooded section. so the camera is sitting there for like a minute waiting for the guy to ride out. so then Rob says "Looks like Pascal disappeared like an Air France flight".

O+

Evidently not, the majority of people on most other forums that i use also found it very disrespectful. Making a joke about over 200 people dying isnt funny especially seeing as it was like 2 weeks ago.

Goddamit. Friggin' crap connection. Must be down to Freecaster. Watched coverage for 3 hours with loads of freezing and having to reconnect to the site. Saw half of Minnar's run then lost connection. Came back after Gee's run and apparently Minaar had won.

Talk about p*ssed off!

Freecaster just lost another viewer.

the air france joke = not funny

the "he's faster and looser than linford christie's lunchbox" comment however, was genius (think it was mik hannah or leihokienen)

crap connection really annoys me, and who positions these cameras? i mean sam hill made up like 5 seconds in the technical section - was there one camera? no.
