im changing the top chain ring next year to either a 34t or 36t. what bash guard company should i get? also i need of grips and pedals. can anyone recommend anything?
I reccomend a truvativ bash guard. They are cheaper than the e13's as far as I know. And I like MacNeil Grips, they are colourfull and have cool designs, they are heavy though

that may be true but they also break easier

Probably. But I ride street and im always doing sprocket stalls on cement road barriers with my bash guard taking the force and I have had nothing but scratches. But if you are going to be giving lots of heavy abuse the the bashguard then you should probably buy the e13.

He is mine 2008 Sasquatch!
A little skinny with L frame, but incredibly efficient and fun to ride!!!

I can only get those 2 to come up, but your Sasquatch looks great. How are the 55's?

i rode a 08 Sasquatch with the 55 and it was garbage. the first half of the travel was rough and the second half was ridged.

Thanks to put my pics Smile
Don't know why my links does'nt work...

About the 55, I'm pretty happy with this fork. Of course, lot of 2008 55's have cartridge problems, and the travel block to 100mm sometimes, but for my part, no problem until know.
The right compression and reboud settings are a little tough to find, but, when you get the right one, it's OK.
But for me, this fork is a pleasure to ride, very efficient in downhill, it erase almost every shocks, and the grip on the front wheel is really great.

For the cons now:
-The 55 is soooo heavy! More than 3 kg (6.6 lbs) so in airs, the bike dive from the front, so that's a little hard to keep the right balance.

-The rigidity of the fork is'nt enough hard on the end of the travel, so on big jumps, it could be a problem.Frown

But it stays a good fork!
