Nice! The berms on the trail under the World Cup side lift look great too..

I'm 5'8 and ride a medium tr450. No complaints about size

I used to have a Jamis Dakar Bam from 2008, and the wheelbase was only an inch shorter. It was sort of a freeride bike more than it was a dh bike, had a 66.5 degree head tube, 1172 mm wheelbase, and a 14.49" BB height.

I'm trying to decide between a large 2010 demo I
and a Medium 2010 tr 450

The two bikes are pretty different. The "reach" measurement on each one were pretty different.

The tr 450 is pretty close in size to my old bike, and the demo is a lot bigger.

Id go with the tr450 because an old demo wont be worth much because they just completely changed the demo. Just my 2 cents.

Both of the bikes are 2010, and both have pretty similar parts.

True, but I don't plan and upgrading the frame anytime soon once I get this bike. The frames can't be that much cheaper a few years down the road...

Have you considered which one will be cheaper to fix in the long run? Bearings for example can be purchased pretty cheap for the tr450 and directly from Transition if you want. They also are a fairly small company and actually respond to customer questions.

Transition also told me that I will not void my warranty by stripping the paint. Not sure about repainting, but that is a big thing down the road if you want to spiff up the frame for cheap.

The frame is also a strong one.

Dude your pretty hard to follow. Try both bikes and decide. The Large Demo Feels awful long i can tell you that. You have to like it ! No one here will tell you what bike you like, only you !

Huh? I was just asking how a medium is for a person 6' tall....since most ppl say its kind of cramped, I'm just gonna pass on it.

The demo I am looking at is a size large and is a lot bigger wheelbase, reach and top tube...probly gonna go with that

I´m 5 10 and have a S and i love it. i know its small but i prefer smaller bikes...and i´m not that good / fast yet (started last Season with rougher DH). and in our bike park we have a big variety of tracks. maybe when im getting better this season i´ll try a M. so its all about what you are used to and what you prefer i guess. i love the flickability of mine so much.
by the way...does the riding change a lot when you switch the HA to 64°?
thanks.
