Anyone able to compare D1 to anything for me? Think I'll give it a shot next time I'm in town, but GoPro vids don't do it justice.

It's pretty full on. I'm not sure that there is much in the park to compare it to really. The trail mainly consists of tightly spaced pretty big gap jumps that require a high degree of skill and confidence to ride. Any punter who can do Aline can probably ride crabapple but D1 is an entirely different animal that requires far more skill than any of the other jump trails. Go to the top, Walk through it before deciding what you want to do.

If anyone needs a rear shock, there's a coil fox DH x2 for $279 at whistler village sports. Brand new 2017. 9.5 x 3.0. reg price is $929. What a steal!

WTF really? Wish I saw that this weekend would've picked it up as a spare. Could've saved me a few hundred bucks on a shock repair earlier this summer too.

I was about to buy it for my gambler then realized I have a 3.5 shock Frown .amazing price. I have a float x2 but I prefer coil. They had lots of other deals too. Picked up some fox demo shorts for $50.

It looks like I may be coming up to whistler in the next week or so, are there any good car camping spots near the mountain or is my best bet a campground somewhere near?

Whistler RV park & campground is about 14 km south of Whistler. Riverside campground is about 3 km north of the village.

I often camp at Nairn Falls. You can also camp for free in the gravel lot next to One Mile Lake.

Anyone else check out the new Creekside trails this weekend? Pretty unique experience to ride a fresh hand cut loamer in the bike park.
