Wood burning skills wanted - in memory of XB

We are looking for a member of the community with wood burning skills and equipment to create a dedication to XB. I have a plank from above the last feature XB worked on and we would like to inscribe something in his honour. Pm me if interested.

If you are up in the Salmon Arm area, I can possibly lend you my small wood burning tool (not much different than soldering iron). I actually need to make a couple of signs at some point myself.

Folks, I found some keepads on the road in Kal Park. If you lost some, hit me up!

I’m back. My friend bought his bike! We are heading there end of month to do some riding. Very excited.

We have 2 days on trails.

If you were looking to stay mostly planted and flow with a bit of tech and chunk, how would you guys plan out your 2 days?

We could possibly arrange to shuttle or just do loops.

Thanks!!!

Kal Park and/or Nobles IMO. Nobles is best with a shuttle.

Kal Park will keep you mostly planted. Your description seems to apply to BeKind, Flowvid, Twista, Noboats as a down. Some good chunk, bit a flow, nothing overly steep though, if you're into that. You can take 36DD as an alternative to Twista if you want some double black-ish tech features. You can also bypass Bekind and take Dope on a Rope to the end of Big Ed and down to Purple haze etc., but I personally find purple haze and Jimmie Thang kinda boring. More old school steeps, flat turns, but not many features or anything. I'm sure someone will be offended by that.

Tied up in frustrating provincial-government bureaucracy.

So work has not started I guess?

Thanks for the feedback fellas!

Countdown is on. Weather hasn’t been favourable for hitting the trails around here and looking like we have 2 weeks of rain(not complaining) but it’s looking like we’ll be coming out there with some rust to shake off.

Just be hitting mostly pavement in the meantime it seems.

Not yet, fall would be optimistic
