I dont ride hard with mine, i jump them alot and do stuff on them but hes muscle and would that make a difference?
no.
i'm not too sure about that. someone who weighs more riding the same bike as someone who weighs less would definitely bust a bike sooner. i know you can tune suspension for your weight category but not everyone takes the time to do that. for example: my buddy and i bought the same bike when we started (blowout sale at our lbs, worked out nicely). he weighed 240 at the time and i only weighed 150. we rode the same trails and were pretty similar in skill level. ruling out that there may have been a problem with the parts on his bike on the assembly side of things...he should have gone through his bike faster and he did. he quit biking the next season because he had no cash to buy a new bike and i stayed on because my bike still worked. we were riding kona fire mountains by the way, we rode those bikes to complete shit, lol.
**edit** SIIIIIIICK!!! stinky dee. i'm loving the 36 and the air shock. definitely a nice combo, looks incredible.
