Never got pics of it, but you dont have to worry about those scrawny looking chainstays....they are double reinforced with graphite on the inside

Gotta put another layer of epoxy over the jointsto make them glossy, paint the metal bits, clear coat everything and the frame will be finished!

Brilliant work Jim, it looks strong, guessing you'll paint the metal a bamboo brown colour?

Nope, black......with the parts i have it will look great. I weighed everything out today, without tubes and chain it is sitting at 17.5lbs.

no offence but isn't that like freakishly heavy for a frame? looks good tho

HAHA.......The frame is 3.5lbs.....I meant the whole bike (wheels, cranks, fork, bars......and all the other parts) is 17.5 pounds without tubes and chain....When i add those is it will probably be a hair under 19lbs for the whole bike.

lol, 17.5Lbs for frame only would be crazy, my carbon framed roadie was 18 pounds, so that's not bad.

17.5 is pretty damn good. my hardtail is 35 and my SS road bike is 21

Almost there!!!....12lbs as pictured

Geez, those rims look pretty sharp! I might need to take some of my own advice.
