Ahaha dude you are so lucky there is already someone crazy enough that did it
here goes nothing
and how it is now bigger brakes fat tires etc etc
It's fighting with teeth and nails with a buddys' commencal meta 5.1 down the trails , and we both got pikes.20mm Maxle kicks ass. Good thing is the rear feels more like a 5inch than a 4.2 so it doesn't feel unbalanced. In a week or so changing the stock shock with a fox rp thingie too. If you get a pike you may want to take a spacer off the steerer or get a zero rise stem, I'm thinking about it too.

what Hubs and pedals do you have, also theres a pike laying around in the sell section but its only 175mm steerer tube, that mean i will have to remove about 2-3 spacers so i can snug my stem on it, any recommendations?

I LOVE THAT GLOSSY BLACK ON YOUR 104 its SWEET!
The hubs are Hope pro 2's and the pedals are Specialized lo pro mag 2's they have insane grip And look nuts I love them.. but.. I destroyed the nice paint in a crash on tarmac Funny thing is I didn't crash in the mountains but down a paved road trying to manual on the way home xD If you have to get the spacers of do it , it will be better to lower your handlebar a bit. Also if you're buying a used Pike remember you may need to service it if the owner hasn't.. Although they are unkillable forks

talked to them at sea otter. there will be a lucky 7 and a downhill version, 7 and 8 inches respectively. pretty freakin dope if you ask me. nearly the same as the giant. not sure of pricing, but i'd hope even cheaper than the giant since its not quite as refined
