I would take the new carbon Covert from Transition, that bike looks so nice and unless I win the lottery I will never be able to afford it.

Why not? I did nothing but work hard and save for a year solid with one motive,to buy my dream bike. I am a normal guy with average wage but, I was single minded and did without certain things to acheive my goal. Trust me if I can do it anyone can! Just need to be disciplined. And man when you lay your money down and walk away with that bike? It is all worth it.
