Rehashing an old thread yet again. It's always nice to see others continuing to ride the Scream. Have any of you guys tried to slack out the HA at all? I'm looking at a drop crown (I have a boxxer RC), and also an angled headset. Thoughts?

I rode my Chaparral with its QR Skewer to windrock this winter, now my brother has it and I have a V2 scream with 8 bolt monsters on it

A few years late to the party.... I have a drop crown domain on my first year scream that I bought new, and have had 24” on the rear both slacken it out quite a bit. Not all glitz with a 24, use specific and love/hate for some... the angle headsets were not a thing when this originally hit the market. But would certainly help with a drop crown and keeping a 26 in the rear.

Since the Scream V2 has a 30.0mm seat tube, your options will be limited to a 27.2mm dropper with shims since no one makes a dropper post in the 30.0mm size. thank you for the repLy bai.. wiLL Look into the options.. i have tried Looking for 27.2 but mostLy are weLL over 400mm in totaL Length.. i need just under 400mm since i am short.. ;-)

Check out PNW... I think they do a shorter 27.2...
