It's unknurled, so I always thought there was the possibility, but mine never has.
The other guy in this thread said his never slipped either.
Of all the stems out there, the Primo is the one I'd recommend highest.

Any 20" tube.
Go to Wal-Mart and buy a Bell 20" tube.
They sell pop-resistant ones, but just get the regular.

Well you shouldn't be confused anymore.
20" is the only size you need to remember for a BMX bike tire.

The primo will slip when you first get it, but if you sand the paint off the inside of the clamping area it then becomes 100% solid.
