Pull the lever to the bar/or as far as it will go without over stressing it and place a rubber band/zip tie in place to hold it there and leave over night,any bubbles will raise to the top cylinder.

If it is air in the system then this will show when you take the rubber band/zip tie of as the lever should only travel so far and means it needs a bleed.

i just bought some 08 saints, and pads r almost toughing so pistons r way to far in. How do i adjust this?

have xt levers, not saint ones. I took out the pads and pressed in piston with non-metal object but still have slight rub on the rotor, maybe i need to drain some brake fluid?

They are meant to do this,can't remember what it's called but it stops the pads rubbing on the rotors.

when i adjusted the free stroke screw on my lever all it did was make the lever feel rough and gritty. Has anyone else had this problem?

You will always get ker shing as it were as they never ever run without slight rubbing.

i have an avid g2 for the rear, will this change with them? And the inboard pad doesn't rub but the outboard does
