Im kinda leaning toward a BottleRocket or a shore.

But im not sure wich one would fit my riding style better.

I plan on going to Highland Mountain Bike Park this summer.

Some slopestyle, drops, step up and all that stuff....

Um all the ones who are suggesting sundays and like 8 - 10 inch bikes, thats wrong, because the poor guy will battle to ride a pure dh bike if its a first softtail.

He needs something more like a bottlerocket.

transition. me and my friends have transitions and theyre all awesome. the guys there are super nice and helpful. their bikes are all hand made, they dont break, and they are designed completely by riders. go with transition over any company any day. plus they are still a small company. if you want a frame look up the dealers on transitionbikes.com and find the one closest to you. once you do that, order the bike (most will ship) have fun. transition wont let you down Smile

id say get the cheapest one because really around here...there isnt that much to ride...if your going to that mountain just rent a bike and save yourself some money...most of the stuff here is huckable on a ht, you know what my bikes like (110mm travel ht) and ill huck most of the drops here...so maybe look at some of the lower end fullys that dont need replacing every so often or look at a fr ht...thats my 2 cents

well it depends on what you want it for...if its for dh then go with an atomik great bike for the price(i just dont like the forks, but that a personal prefrence)..but if you want to do some jumping some trails and some dh, then definatly go for the shore..i ride an 07 Shore 3 and i have to say one of the smoothest bikes i have ever rode, they will do anything, i trust it completely
