Yeah, it's easy to strip the head, it's easy to strip the threads. Stupid. Throw some blue Loctite on there once you get it set and it shouldn't rattle loose.

On my mtb my brake lever is 1.5cm inside the grip, but on my BMX bike there is no room to push the lever in anymore, it is sitting right at the bend and wont go any further. Appears to work fine though.

For some reason, I ride with my hand jammed up against the lever yet when I do reach for the brakes I slip my hand over then grab the lever. I don't use my brakes all that much and I expect that a lot of street riders are the same.

i had to switch from 2 finger braking to one, i'm a small rider so i need as much grip on my bars as i can to move my bike around, that and i used to get this sort of shock that went up through my hand, i think it was because i was pulling a nerve or somethingConfused but then after i switched to one finger braking, it stopped
