I would say a cheap FR seat WTB has lots of styles.

for wheels on the cheap side single tracks or S-types with formula hubs

on the more bling side 823 with hope pro 2's


fork you should be able to pick up a 2nd hand 888 for super cheap

a dhx 3.0 would be a huge change over a Van

a general Tune up.

if you find a bag of money a new frame would be a good idea as 2002 is getting up there think of Al fatigue and the tech changes over the last 6 years

Although my frame is made of steel, haha.

and my mom says a fork is out of the question, and my wheels are beefy, i dont mind the weight.
