Here's my lever blade that I made out of an old crankarm. Single finger operation. BTW this was before it was shaped further and polished....

I've also made a dual-ring chainguide for my brother's bikes..pretty simple design but works great

i saw somewhere a bike with disc protectors. Looked like half a chain guide mounted to the frame so you could grind without hitting your disc

MX bikes have disk protecters. Most do anyway =D

You guys make some badass parts Razz I wish i could, i need a good bashguard for my bmx lol.

i am currently working on the boomerang for a chain guide but i need some help as to roller placement in relation to the bashguard and chainring. do the rollers swing out behind the rin and just pull the chain toward itself or do they kind of pinch the chain to the ring?
EDIT: all i have so far is a cardboard template that i am using as a dry run and to make any adjustments i will post pics up if any1 is willing to help me?

some do pinch and some dont,problem is your bashgaurd would have to be perfectly round.

just look at similar ones like mrp and such.
bashguard roundness wont be a problem but i am still unclear as to how your supposed to achieve clearence with the bashguard past the chain while still letting the rollers pinch the chain
EDIT: neverming i think i am going to slightly alter my design to incorpoerate something like e13's STP guide for the top

well you could tuck it in behind the bash but you might have clearence issues with your frame or sertain frames.

yeah thats why im deciding to go with a single roller on the bottom and then a stationary guide on the top mounted vertically or just a different style roller

thats a toughy for sure.

the thing i like about mine is that you can adjust the upper portion of the guide so it sits 3mm above the chain which is recomended so i would say if you can make it adjustable.
