I think they look cool, but I see no point in them. Unless you are riding when it's pitch black out, it's pointless. Go ahead and get them if they cost the same price though, but I'm going to bet they are a few bucks more.

also, there are no way medal pedals are the same price as plastic. local shop has the macneil metals for 100 bones and the PCs are $24

Ya I'm actualy a little tempted by those too just for when i'm riding at night haha. Some metal pedals are around the price, like the welgo mg4's are about the same weight as pc's, maybe even a little lighter and they only cost about 10 bucks more.
