AS for your first bike, if you want it to last you definitely want some CroMoly components, (mainly your fory and frame) usually you will find frames that are "CroMo" but the seat-tube and head-tube are still hi-tension steel. Those frames are definitely OK for you're first bike if you want to get something a good quality bike with good parts. Even build your bike off Craigslist with cheap good condition parts is a good idea. Always remember that you can upgrade if something doesn't suit you, and if all else is possible give the bike a try. And stick to odyssey Evo2 brakes, their linear cable, and a monolever Big Grin

Im fairly decided on the Fit TRL2, looks so nice and has big bars which im gunna need. Have colony released their 09 endevour yet>?

you can get a wtp addict which has high rise bars and a full chromoly frame unlike the trl2 only has top and down chromo tubes.

Yea i dont mind the wtp addict. looks liek a nice bike. would it need much upgraded?

Nah, i want a BMX. im goign to spend $800 and get the WTP Trust if it feels good. going down tomoorow arvie.
