i ran races for a year and a half, raced em 1-2 times a mmonth on local and bigger tracks, and did 2 weeks in the alps with them, over that period of time i blew 1 set of seals, after which i did the proper maintenence, and they were wicked all the time! really decent, only time id want better is at big and alpine tracks where High speed compression helps stop the fork packing down and wristrape, but now im on 40's and havnt had a chance to properly break em in yet.

I really like my 08 Boxxer Race. It feels quite smooth, and doesn't bottom harshly. I changed the coil from the standard yellow one (150-180 lb rider weight) to the silver coil (120-150lb rider weight), and it made the fork that much better. If you weigh less than 150lbs, I highly recommend a lighter coil. Over the last summer I took it DH'ing about 3 times a month, and haven't had any reliability issues. I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.
