Yea like any rim it will flex when hit hard enough, but the rim was strait after, that 721 is stronger then my 24inch wheel i had, i killed that on its first ride and i wasn'd even on the bike, but the pro 2 that was in it was fine, and is now back on the bike
That was on a hardtail, it snapped my frame, but my 721 came through strait they have proven their worth to me and personly i belive they can take some hefty hits with ease.
Any rim can give, but from my personal experience the 721 is a strong light rim that i will be happy to run.
can u say mag 30 lmfao. so strong so heavy. but yet i still swear by them..
I have not rode a mag 30, but its fact that given enough fource the rim can break. I now run a Doublewide rim, very heavy, very stong and i dont think i will be breaking that anytime soon, but i know that bender has broken one.

Like i said any rim will give, just give it time.
yeah for sure. my rear mag 30 took a retarted hit of a rock at a dh race and cracked one of the eyelets. i've been ridding it ever since with a slight flatspot waiting for it to break down. but its just not. im also 135 lbs. so for me a mag 30 is nuke proof as it gets.
perfect - I was just working out both sets myself, and decided on the Pro 2 on 721 as well. Let's see how well it stands up to my mis-trials at the Whistler drops...
