Dude, you don't learn do you?

I don't have any forts on a BB7. However my thoughts on a BB7 are that they are a very good brake if you aren't worried about weight too much.

i had the BB5's for the almost 2 years. i ran a BB7 for about a month and a half before i broke the mounting bracket on it (which was entirely my fault). super great brake. you can pretty much mount them and forget about them. i ran the same pads for 2 years and they still felt the same. easy to adjust and overall the best brake i've tried.

The front and back main body are the same front and back, you get an adaptor for them both, usually fitted with the front already on, ( mine were ) unscrew - take of the front adaptor, screw the back one on, fit on the back mounts, same idea and same way of adjustment as the front and the video below.

Lots of lovely info,,,,

run a linear cable with bb7's and your braking power will be endless.

how much better are the bb7s than the bb5s?

I've only built 1 fort on a BB7 and it didn't go to well. I highly don't recommend doing this.

Its the same brake as far as I know, the only difference being that the BB7 has an external adjuster that's obviously more convenient to adjust on the go. In terms of performance I didn't feel any significant difference.
