ya i have to agree with ganstask8er. 4.4 isn't exactly the lightest bike out there nowadays.

Buddy, the DAK frame from Fit is a street specific frame and it weighs 4.2 pounds. Dakota Roche is one of the most punishing riders in the business also. The Fly Tierra also weighs 4.2 pounds designed by kevin porter. A lot of the time weight is determined by the quality of metal they use and where it is butted. I higher quality steel could be lighter and stronger.

Thank you for the abundance of flawed advice, buddy.
-Just because a frame is made for street, doesnt make it tough.
-Dakota Roche is smooth as hell.
-Kevin Porter is smooth as hell.
-Modern technologies do allow us to make a strong frame at lower weights, but there still is a point where a frame is going to be weak, no matter how much technology and marketing terms you put into it.

Even though the DAK, Tierra, and TTL are a year or two newer than my United, I can guaranty you that my 5.3lb United is stronger and more dent resistent those 4.2 pounders.

actually i highly doubt that your united is stronger. i used to have the same united you have have and i cracked it right at the dropouts. i have had the proper for a little while now and the frame feels weigh stiffer. And ps. Dakota Roche may be smooth, but a 180 to fakie off a 10 foot wallride over a stairset can never be smooth.

Somehow I doubt you cracked the drop outs. Its easy to read through the crap.
I have decided on the Sunday New Wave in Warm Red. My origional want.

Now on to wheels

Its now down to The Sunday Second Wave Frame versus the Mutiny Burlish 420.

Any thoughts??
I'd definitely go with the Sunday. It will take as much abuse as you can throw at it. The Burlish is more of a trails inspired frame and wouldn't hold up as good as the Sunday. I'm sure the Burlish would probably be fine but if you want something that you can have 100% confidence in, then get the Sunday.

The burlish 420 and the sunday new wave have the exact same geometry

Yea G-Sport all the way!! primo rims are bomb-proof. you're not really going to go wrong with any of the high end rims out there.

Bold the word hardcore, I think a few people didn't notice it...

And my opinion, Sunday!

Edit: I see you have already chosen.

I know you already chose the Sunday, but...

Doesn't get much more hard core then that.Drool

Back on topic, if you have the money, go for g-sport wheels. They're awesome. Also look at Odyssey. I've had my stock hazard lite wheel for almost 3 years and had no problems, and they're a pretty good price.

Mixed opinions on pretty much all of Shadow Conspiracy's line up. I have nothing bad to say about them, but Odyssey,G-sport, or Primo would be a better bet.
