Thanks for help lads,Big Grin , reckon it is about 2001, does anybody think that 2001 is to old for a d/hiller.

Thanks to guy who put my pic up, god knows how you done it,Confused

The bullit is still going strong today and the frame hasn't changed a great deal since its launch, with 7 inches In the rear I still think its worthy of a d/h rig however old the frame is.

well to a degree it does matter. If the frame has been ridden pretty hard for the last 8 yrs it will be more brittle than a newer frame. bike frames do flex a little when you jump them, of course they go right back into shape. however over time flexing back and forth softens the frame material, eventually leading to failure. This is why people often tell you to be careful when buying used freeride and downhill bikes.

There's no side plates on the head / top / down tube interface so that's older than 2005. It should also have a 5th Coil on there, not a Van RC, or whatever than shock is.

I had an 05 bullit yours is definately older. I raced mine a few times and it held up fine. The only thing is the bullit is a freeride bike with a high bottom bracket and not a very slack head angle, not exaclty what your looking for when racing dh. However it is a bombproof bike and very versitile.
