f*ck me, went out to a friend's house to watch the match yesterday and then went to the main square in Barcelona for the afterparty celebrations, it was insanely packed. Let's just say by the end of the night the riot police were getting very twitchy, I was walking home around 4am and as I round the corner to the right I immediately, turn right round and start running to the left as I hear a bunch of people running & screaming with the police behind using those beloved rubber pellet shooting shotguns we all love so much (man that was close). Good fun celebrating, city is trashed, people are still partying and I think this is going to continue for a while. I'll see if I can get some photos up.
Looks like my spidey sense worked good when we were trying to meet up with friends and decided to boot it out of the area in front of the McDonald's quick once we heard the police over the megaphones, apparently a few minutes later they opened fire there too (earlier on, around 1am).
Good night overall. Too much vandalism though, I don't understand why people need to go out and trash the city in happiness, a friend literally saw a group of like 15 people upturn a car stopped at a red light, wtf. Plus too many drunks and too many thieves, but the former you ignore and the latter you deal with appropriately.
Anyway, the players are coming this way soon with the bus so it's time to boot it down to the street, over and out. I'd snap some photos but the camera is broken.

Hey just shows that 95% of North America have no taste in football teams and just support the most famous one, like a large proportion of the rest of the world!
