Linkage Designs

Here's some of my older stuff. I have newer (and much better) designs but I forgot to upload them before I left for school so it'll be either thanksgiving or christmas before they go up.

c-v-tich: it's a nice idea but it looks like the shock is going through one of the pivots? Try making the 1st and 2nd links longer, it makes life a lot easier.

jwmbike14 i very much like your designs, very original and looks functional Salute

giant vt, i liked the curve with a nice pedaling pocket just where it sags so i tried to copy it

trocadero: yeah, you right, it goes through the pivot, haven't noticed that before Smile
i tried to make shortest links possible to make rear end stiffer

thanx for the comment guys Smile

the shock stroke is massive, you're probably going to have to reposition the mount on the link. nice looking design though

that top link is probably going to be too short. this may seem discouraging but i went through the exact same process- coming up with plenty of designs that look cool on paper but people shoot them down. i think you said something about trying to get linkage which i would really recommend, i learned so much from it.

With this design you need something between the top tube and the downtube, as it's gunna flex quite a bit without something there
