I guess that bike uses Euro BB, so yes, you'll have to change the BB. Other thing you have to keep in mind when you buy BMX cranks is the axle , if its 19mm or 22mm. So in example, if you buy Primo Hollowbites that have 22mm axle, you need to buy a Euro BB with 22mm spacing.

Hope I helped.

As for the colour scheme, yours is not bad at all . Big Grin

just change parts as they break... cheapest way tbh

Thats what im pretty much doing and to be honest the rear mech and chain rings are stuffed after a few big bails and manually bending the thing back into shape with my hands... hence the need and want SS kit first.. this bike is also long over due a good service!

Yeah thats a big help as ive never had BMX cranks.

so in light of the recent BMX crank interest are there any advantages/disadvantages to having them over normal cranks?

Well, they are lighter , more reliable and look SUPER clean in every bike.

Oh, and you can run micro gear with them with no problem.

I bought Primo Hollowbites for my Mutant and are super sick Big Grin
