I took Bullit because it had more travel,I really wanted frame with Vivid and with full seattube so I can have long seat post.And most important thing.Bullit was cheaper.Smile

if you got rid of the demo for being to large for what you need, dont get the bullit. its not going to be any more manageable than the demo 7. the sxt or the nomad is what you want to be looking at. both pedal brilliantly, and are spot on for what i believe your looking for in a bike.

Just a suggestions, if your trail is as flat as I see it. Get some clipless pedals.

That's not true, it is far more manageable. In my experience Bullits are far more lively and nimble than Demos. Their steeper geometry, single pivot design, and light frame weight make them a far more snappy bike than a Demo (even a 7). However agreed, it's not a fantastic pedaler and if a Demo was too much bike, a Bullit will be too, same with the SXT. The 10mm difference in travel is inconsequential. I thought you decided on an SXT marquis?

Thats just one section after a rockey decent.
And i ride some light FR/DH
