You kinda epicly failed with that thought.
you can make any bike with any suspention design feel good with a properly set up quality shock. the reason my shock is unsmooth is because I got a bad apple, I've blown it twice in the last 4 months. It has always had a clunk in the beginning of the stroke and has just generally felt bad.
