I had a Gen2 5010 with 125mm of travel, and 27.5 wheels. Top 3 favorite bike of all time for me personally. So capable and versatile.

I loved my 5010 2. With a 140 fork and a 185mm dropper it was a very capable bike. The geometry was spot on I thought.

I love my 5010, a ton, really really do. I wish the headtube was a wee bit steeper is all I can really complain about.

Also not sure if it would work correctly. It does add stack height to the headtube as well as raising the technical A-C length of the fork by being external to the frame. May need to rethink that and see where it would end up.

Loved the selection of choice , something for almost everyone worldwide.

Edit: Wonder if it will ‘fall away’ as an option and be discontinued. Zero idea of sales

Yup, I ran 2 different 140 forks on it and it was really spot on. I used a 150mm dropper cuz I had height issues.

I think I even put a 150mm fork on my v2, it’s been a minute though. Man that was a good bike.
