I ride brakeless , mostly because i like my bike to be as low maintenance as possible. I feel uncomfortable having a finger on the lever too , it feels much more natural ( for me ) riding on clean bars . I also like the asthetics of a clean bike ( no wires, levers, pads ) . I can see how brakes are useful as they serve their purpose well and more efficiently than a shoe sole and help for some back tyre tricks , but personally i just don't like the feel of them .

I swap between the 2, had my brakes off for 2 weeks and thinking about putting them on again for abit. variety is the spice of life and all that. Gotta agree with a few people tho, a brakeless bmx looks so much cleaner.
