Anyone have any info on the 2018 Stumpjumper? They are due out here in Aus in october and i know the bike shops have the deets (local spesh dealer wont share with me :-( ).Im guessing same wheelset and components as 2017 with probably the larger legged Revelation (35mm) will be the entry point for about $3200 us.

Ask the crew at Just Ride on the Gold Coast...they're pretty easy-going like this tup

Had my 2016 SJ Comp in L for about a year now; previously owned the same bike in M for a couple of months, but felt I needed more TT room...

A few mods to baseline specs:

XT 1x10
35mm Spesh stem from mates old SX T2
160mm Pike RCT3
Zee brakes w/ Hope 203mm / Icetech 180mm rotors (burned the icetech and needed replacement at Ard Rock festival last week and only Hope had a 203 available)

Plans:
1x11 or even 1x12...
New shock...liking the look of DPX2 right now Beer
Repaint the frame black & white

No plans to replace just yet as I absolutely love riding this bike!

I'm about to buy a new unbuilt 2016 S-Works Stumpy 29 frame that had been sitting in a warehouse and was wondering about minimum steer tube length needed. I'd like to switch over as many parts as I can from my current ride as possible. I was wondering about steer tube length for my fork. I'd like to avoid the cost of a new fork on top of the cost of things I will already have to spring for on top of the frame and bottom bracket. I was looking for info from anyone that has built one up or switched a fork in as to what they have on theirs.

Head tube length varies between sizes, from 90 to 120, best to go to the archive on specialized site.

Switched from a debonair monarch plus rc3 to topaz. The topaz is definitely smoother and has a more bottomless feel without being filled to the brim with bands like the monarch. For reference I'm 130ish lbs. 175psi in the air sprint, 162 in bladder and 2 bands in the negative side.

5'10.5"--5'11"
Sold the M bike to a friend and she's 5'6" or 5'7" and she loves it

Anyone else having trouble fitting a water bottle in the SWAT holder? My water bottle gets up really close to the shock adjustments and I am constantly worried about my bottle rubbing the shock. I have a 20oz polar bottle that's a few years old, I measured it and found it's around 9.5 inches tall just for reference.
Two months on this bike so far and I am absolutely loving my burnt orange expert, will post some pics soon!

Im not running into any problems, but i have a L frame and am running a specialized purist bottle. I did find that the fabric bottle doesn't work because the door has a concave shape so the tabs don't stick out enough

Hey, I have a big problem with fitting a water bottle on my size S frame. How tall is the purist water bottle( well, the body of the water bottle ) ?

thanks.

What cage are you using? The side loading ones really help if it's not purely a fitment issue, but a problem removing the bottle.

9.75" for the whole thing, not sure what you mean by the body of the water bottle?

I'd drill or file the holes in the cage larger/longer
